THE VALUE OF JOINING OUR COMPLIANCE ACCOUNTABILITY GROUP

We started the year with the announcement of our newest initiative, Compliance Accountability Groups, which are designed to improve the compliance function at your businesses through peer-to-peer learning and collaboration. Joining our groups will facilitate making progress in protecting your businesses, so we thought we'd share more:

Who Should Join this Group?

The group(s) is open to all BHPH and independent dealers and finance companies. Whether you are an owner/operator, manager, or compliance professional, an experienced compliance expert or just beginning your compliance journey, there's plenty to learn and this is the place for you.

What is a CAG?

Simply put, it's a group of dealers/finance companies that want to be best-in-class when it comes to compliance and managing legal and regulatory risk. Group members will share their experiences, keep up to date on industry developments, and solve challenges. They'll also hold each other accountable for making progress and help identify strengths and gaps in each other's compliance program. Ignite will serve as the moderator and manage the overall process and present developments and concerns.

As part of this, we have created the first dealer compliance composite, which will allow dealers to measure their program, provide visibility to the best practices of others and how dealers of all shapes and sizes achieve success.

Where/When?

These groups will meet virtually three times a year, on a quarterly basis, and then have one face to face meeting in conjunction with our annual Compliance Unleashed Conference. We anticipate that our initial meeting will be held virtually in mid-February, and then we'll meet in person at Compliance Unleashed. We'll also have another meeting over the Summer, and again in the Fall.

Each group member will also receive two complimentary consultations with Ignite each year to apply what is learned in the groups to their specific situation.

Why?

Simply put, we see too many companies struggle with their compliance function and we want to help. We are convinced that the peer-to-peer environment will strengthen all of the members. As we say, a rising tide lifts all ships. Whether a robust compliance initiative is something new, or you are experienced in the nuances, there's great benefits to be had.

Conclusions

We've made this a no-brainer. The cost is $125/quarter, there's no hidden costs or expensive travel. The compliance composite will help all members be able to gauge their programs and learn how others are overcoming obstacles and succeeding. Ignite will manage the program and provide its knowledge and expertise. Memberships are already filling up for our first meeting in February, so reach out to CAG@IgniteCP.com to apply for membership.
